Gülsüm Kayabaşı Koru is a graduate of the Department of Computer Engineering at Eskişehir Osmangazi University. She completed her master's degree in Computer Engineering at Gazi University and her PhD in the Department of Digital Forensics at Gazi University. Her master's research focused on the classification of mobile applications using static analysis methods, while her doctoral research examined the detection of Turkish fake news using deep learning methods. In the public sector, she has worked in various fields, including computer engineering, smart card operating systems and applications, cryptography systems, database administration, and project management. She has carried out projects in artificial intelligence, data science, natural language processing, large language models, machine learning, deep learning, information security, and cryptology, and has academic work in these areas. She has taught courses on various programming languages, algorithms, information security, cryptology, and database management systems. Since 2018, she has also continued to serve as a digital forensics expert in the Ankara region.
