Dr. Ramin Abbaszadi completed his undergraduate studies in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Tabriz, Iran, in 1998. He then earned a master's degree in Information Systems through a joint program between Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction and the Faculty of Engineering in Tehran, and subsequently received his PhD from the Department of Computer Engineering at Hacettepe University in 2022. His doctoral dissertation focused on an end-to-end convolutional neural network framework for low-resolution feature recognition. After starting his professional career, Dr. Ramin Abbaszadi worked as a software engineer and project manager on numerous projects both in Turkey and abroad. Many of the projects he developed and managed are currently operating actively in different parts of the world. Notable projects in this scope include: the Istanbul 3rd Bridge Video Analysis Project (covering stationary vehicle detection, wrong-way vehicle detection, person detection, vehicle accident detection, and similar detections), the In-Tunnel Artificial Intelligence Video Analysis Project, the Electron Microscope Image Processing Analysis Project (currently active in many locations around the world), the Safe City Project (covering vehicle license plate detection and recognition, vehicle make, model, and color detection, speed detection, intersection control, traffic light violation management, and similar analyses; this project is currently in operation in numerous countries as well as within Turkey), the Face Recognition Project (currently in active use at the Istanbul Zorlu Shopping Center), and the KGYS (Urban Security Management System) Project. In addition to these, he has also worked on many other projects.

Research Areas: Computer Vision, Image Processing, Artificial Intelligence, Object and Face Detection, Super Resolution.
